Stefon Diggs Has Been Traded From Buffalo Bills To Houston Texans In Major NFL Deal

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to trade their star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in a significant move in the NFL, first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

As part of the deal, the Texans will give the Bills a 2025 second-round pick. Houston will also acquire a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-rounder.

This trade comes shortly after Diggs expressed uncertainty about his future in the NFL, following the Bills’ failure to reach the Super Bowl despite a strong regular season.

“I’m taking it day by day,” he stated, as reported by ESPN. “There are a lot of changes happening, and I can’t get ahead of myself. I have an offseason ahead to work hard and improve.”

Diggs was originally traded to the Bills from the Minnesota Vikings back in 2020. He was drafted by the Vikings in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Prior to his trade to the Texans, Diggs engaged with a fan on social media who questioned his importance to Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s success.

In response to the fan’s doubt, Diggs simply asked, “You sure?”

According to the New York Post:

“While Diggs had a strong run in Buffalo, achieving career-best numbers in receptions (127) and yards (1,535) in his first season with the team, issues arose in early 2023 when the Bills were knocked out in the playoffs by the Bengals.
