A Notre Dame College (South Euclid, Ohio) wide receiver is causing an insane uproar on social media after trying to defend Deshaun Watson, amid the 22 sexual allegations he is still facing in civil court.
Troy Bitterle is clearly a Browns fan, so once the trade came through that the team acquired Deshaun Watson, he immediately started defending his team’s new QB.
Bitterle railed off an insane conspiracy theory that the Houston Texans were upset with Watson requesting a trade. So they had multiple women accuse him of sexual assault and misconduct.
“Deshaun had 0 allegations until he requested to be traded and pissed off his white racist billionaire owner. The attorney who brought this to social media is best friends with the owner. How does this get lost every time it’s brought up? And he beat the case”

“If you are rooting for the team to lose because of this whole situation, you never welcome back as a fan. So when we in the bowl I don’t wanna hear nothing. Yall go ride with 6”

And then some people wonder why women don’t just come forward about sexual assault every time it happens in this country.
As far as Bitterle goes, statistics could not be found for him, so we’re just going to assume that he rides the bench.
Watson didn’t play in 2021 due to the charges levied against him, but he led the league with 4,823 passing yards in 2020. He gets a fresh start with the Cleveland Browns, but just like Ben Roethlisberger, these allegations will follow him for the remainder of his career.
Here’s how social media reacted:
At least 2 women came forward before the trade request. The timeline is narrow so it’s easily over looked

So the billionaire owner purposely tried to ruin his trade value? lmao How the fuck does that make sense?

Another thing. I played ball up until college. Athletes are very particular about their bodies. We don’t even let multiple tape our damn ankles. Let alone going to 20+ massage therapists for “therapy”. He was out there tricking like he a regular joe & got caught up. All on him

There were multiple allegations against him well before he requested a trade, they just became public around that time. This post also completely ignores how hard it is to convict sexual assault and other sexual violence crimes due to a lack of physical evidence pic.twitter.com/lC1G0qpypd
