Deion Sanders Announces That NFL Hall Of Famer & Super Bowl Champ Is Joining His Buffaloes Staff In 2024

Colorado Buffaloes fans have something big to look forward to next year, as Deion Sanders has revealed that Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp will be joining the coaching staff.

Sanders, currently in his first year with the Buffaloes, made the announcement about Sapp’s addition. Sanders had previously had a successful stint with Jackson State. Sapp, a legendary defensive lineman, is set to bring his expertise to the Buffaloes.

Sapp, known for his exceptional defensive skills, played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1995 to 2003 and the Oakland Raiders from 2004 to 2007. He was a seven-time Pro Bowler, led the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl 37 victory, and received Defensive Player of the Year honors in 1999. Throughout his career, Sapp accumulated 96.5 sacks, 21 pass defenses, four interceptions, and 19 forced fumbles.

Despite a disappointing 4-7 record for the Buffaloes this year, there has been notable progress under Sanders. Having initially inherited a one-win team, Sanders has already guided them to four victories, and the addition of Sapp to the coaching staff hints at even more improvement in the future.
